Hiring Success 18 Sets the Agenda

Everyone, gather your conference countdown clocks. It’s no more than a month until San Francisco hums to life with what is fast becoming the hottest ticket in HR Tech.

It’s been a high-energy, sometimes stressful, but never boring last few months at Smartrecruiters. We’ve gathered almost 100 speakers over three stages for dozens of sessions between March 12th and 14th for our Hire18 conference, and are finally ready to reveal everything you need to start planning who you want to see and what you can’t afford to miss. Register and start mapping your attack plan with our agenda here.

You may want to sponge branding expertise from the global trendsetters at Adidas, take on gender inequality with the founder of the SheWorx, find out how Facebook Jobs has affected recruiting from the product manager himself, or all of the above. We certainly won’t be one to argue with that. But if we could, we would humbly offer the latest agenda confirmations and the most must-see moments of the madness.

Starting Tuesday, March 13th, the main stage will be graced by our intrepid – during these conference preparations some may say contagiously maniacal – CEO Jerome Ternynck, bright and early at 9 am.

You’ll have time to hit your planned sessions until 2:15 pm, when namesake and CEO of the Adler Group, Lou Adler, will explain what 40 years of recruiting has taught him, and can teach you, about job fit.

Closing out the day on the main stage will be a session, The Standout Applicant, with four very special guests:

  • Nina: a Digital Marketing candidate who made her case to Airbnb
  • Shelly: who will offer her job search experience from incarceration to Microsoft
  • Rob: who built a bot so he could apply to 3000 companies in one go
  • and, Maren: an expert on how to build candidate personas

For those lucky enough to get a ticket, the evening will be spent cruising under the Golden Gate Bridge at our Smarty Party.

Wednesday morning will kick off with our own VP of Product Rebecca Carr setting the pace at 9 am. At 10, Steve Fogarty, senior director of talent futures at Adidas will open the books on your favorite campaigns, as well as the biggest failures.

You’ve no doubt got the rest of your day planned and loaded into by-the-minute intervals in your calendar, so you go do all that, but just make sure you’re back to the main stage to close out the conference with our very special closing speaker, who, well, we can’t give it all away just yet, can we?

Check back here for the final Hire18 reveal soon.
